Positive Outlook Developing: Sexual Identity and Education is a European project funded by the Erasmus+ programme (KA220-YOU) that promotes a profound transformation in the way we understand, teach and share sexuality with young people.
Sexuality is not limited to biology or imposed norms. It is a social, emotional, cultural and political construct. At PODSIE, we work with a broad vision that includes gender identities, sexual orientations, emotional relationships and diverse ways of experiencing the body.
In contrast to the traditional approach focused on fear, danger and prohibitions, we propose sex education based on curiosity, responsible exploration and the affirmation of desire as part of human development.
Professionals who work with young people need up-to-date, accessible and contextualised tools. PODSIE offers ongoing, practical training so that educators, youth workers and counsellors can rigorously address sensitive issues such as sexuality, identity and consent.

Board games, digital platforms, educational guides, toolkits for trainers… At PODSIE, we believe that materials should be as diverse as young people themselves. That’s why we design resources that are accessible and adaptable to multiple contexts.
Sex education is not just an individual issue, it is a social and political issue. To achieve sustainable change, dialogue with families, public officials and the media is necessary.
